Very Good

The environment to really check out from the world. It was great to have the individual cabins/rooms.

The bathroom had quite a bit of dirt on the ground. I think the jacuzzi could have been more enticing for sure.

What was the highlight of Hotel Agua de Vida

Great stay, value for money not so sure.

Breakfast is excellent. Staff was very accommodating and kind. The design and decor is absolutely beautiful, perfect balance of the rural to modern vibe. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds extremely comfortable; the housemade products are amazing. The remoteness of this hotel is a big plus, made the experience very relaxing.

The road access to the hotel should be made better taking into the account the price point of this property. We went in the winter and it was very challenging to make our way to the hotel every day. The spa experience needs improvement, the facilities are cold, and the rituals not performed as said. The restaurant was disappointing. Based on other properties in the region (and their amenities), I felt this property was a bit overpriced.

Awesome

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Privacy of small cabins was great. Despite cold weather, staff brought in a floor heater to keep us comfortable. Would stay again, maybe during spring.

An excellent place to stay and I'll definitely consider the next time I'm in the area!

It was a very unique property and everyone there was absolutely wonderful. Pedro checked us in and walked us to our room. He was also the one who handled our checkout. Food was top-notch and the atmosphere at the restaurant was really awesome.

We had slight difficulty in finding the property so a few more signs may be helpful as GPS doesn't know how to find it. But the somewhat remote location was part of the benefit of staying there.

Ample parking, easy to get to your room;

Ample parking, easy to get to your room; the views of the horizon were nice and the sound of water as if a waterfall was near by.

The water in the main lobby has a really bad smell, hard to eat in the restaurant. Water pressure was lacking, if this isn’t posted anywhere you are required to take no more than a 15 minute shower or your warm water will disappear and become ice water. Furthermore the restaurant that here would be amazing if Staff knew what they were serving I had ordered a ribeye steak medium they serve it rare near the end of the stake but the next tip was medium to medium well don’t know how you do that but the worst part was that a fly was inside of my tray the moment they opened the tray lid; he didn’t apologize nor take the food back I chose to eat portions of the steak but I couldn’t complete the full meal as blood had gotten into the meal (veggies, sauce). On that note please be wary the hotel itself looks amazing from the pictures but what they failed to explain that as much as it eco-friendly you will be without power for some time as it occurred while we were in the room. We would probably not come back to this hotel as I still have a lot to work on from power, water pressure, staff knowledge of food being served in courtesy, our room wasn’t clean even though upon request to ask they explained that they’re trying to be eco-friendly therefore our room for two days hadn’t been turned down or over.

Hotel is nowhere near what is advertised.

Hotel is nowhere near what is advertised. Rooms are incredible small; loud ad they have a party going on until late night. You dont even get a chair, bench, shelf or anywhere else tonplace your stuff. So need yo leave everything inside your suitcase and find a place in the floor for that. Hotel is poorly designed so if you open a window in your room you face directly go another room window. Avoid if possible. It is by far the worst accomodation Ive had in Valle de Guadalupe. They advetise as "breakfast included"; however only one item in the menu is actually included.

Disappointed and would not recommend

The restaurant and bar area was interesting, and food was good. The staff friendly with reasonable service.

The room was poorly appointed and small. The price charged was extremely excessive for the quality and service of the property, equating to some of the best 5 star hotels in the world. I had expected a world class boutique hotel though was very disappointed. This property is nowhere near the photos and description, or a 5 star rating. The location is poor and the property looks generally run down. Several items and fixtures in the room were broken, no wifi available and the bed and room unclean.

Nice but needs improvements

The concept of this Boutique Hotel is cute, but they need more improvements, like wi-fi in room, they had but didn’t work. We understand the place is built in a very rural area so that’s understandable and also they just opened a fews months ago. Staff is very attentive, we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they surprised us with a free bottle of beer like champagne . It was very hot that day in The Valley so their pool on the 3rd floor and that’s was amazing.

There down is the location since is very rural still. But is close to nice restaurants and town.

Hotel is still trying to pull it together

The food at the restaurant was good. The wait staff at the restaurant were attentive. The managements refunded one night

We had to change room 3 times. First room was outside a construction site with a bulldozer. Second room had no electricity. The hotel is across the street from a barrio and there is no security. The water in the rooms is limited (10 min) and it smells of sulfur. The management on site says they are trying to be eco-friendly, but that is not advertised on the site. Rooms are incredible expensive and the service and accommodations don’t match. Music blares all night from the outdoor club at the front of the property.
